Our Services

Valley Vista Eye Care offers a wide variety of services for the whole family. Our practice conducts comprehensive eye health exams for all ages. We will evaluate the internal and external health of the eyes, and we will also assess the refractive error status to determine your prescription for glasses. If you are interested in contact lenses, then we will perform additional procedures to ensure proper fit, provide training, and verify the final prescription.

Our medical eye care services include evaluation and management of eye conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye, and ocular allergy. We also have a wide selection of designer eyewear to suit any budget.

Routine eye care is important because many of the conditions which affect our visual system have no symptoms until significant damage has occurred, so early detection is key to successful treatment. Many people are unsure how often to return for eye exams. Recommendations for exam frequency vary based on a variety of factors, and we will clarify during your exam.

If you schedule a comprehensive exam, it is likely that we will need to use eye drops to dilate your pupils in order to fully assess the health of your visual system. Pupil dilation results in temporary light sensitivity and some difficulty with reading tasks, so please keep that in mind as you choose an appointment time. The side effects of pupil dilation typically last 3-5 hours. We will provide disposable sunglasses to help alleviate your light sensitivity.
